How NE Tiny Homes Uses FutureLot to Turn Homeshow Conversations into Real Projects
We caught up with Chris Pace and Mark Biller of New England Tiny Homes at a New England Home Show, where they've been using FutureLot to have better, faster conversations with potential customers.

There's a moment that happens at every home show. A homeowner walks up to the booth, curious but skeptical. They've heard about ADUs. They've seen the headlines about new legislation. But they don't know what any of it means for their property specifically.
That's exactly where FutureLot comes in.
We recently caught up with Chris Pace and Mark Biller of New England Tiny Homes at a New England Home Show, where they've been using FutureLot to have better, faster conversations with potential customers. What they described was less about software and more about a moment.
"There's just that fun moment when you pull up an address on FutureLot and someone sees their house," Chris told us. "I like to start with that question: does that look familiar? And they go, oh my gosh, that's my house."
From there, the conversation changes completely. Instead of talking in abstractions about setbacks and lot coverage and ADU legislation, Chris and his team can show homeowners exactly what's possible on their specific property. Drop in an ADU. Toggle the 3D view. Watch the idea come to life in real time.
"When we pop an ADU on there and throw them that 3D feature, it's really cool to watch them light up," Chris said.
Mark Biller, the newest franchise owner of New England Tiny Homes, put it even more directly. "I can show someone in 60 seconds where they can put their relatives or where they can generate additional income."
For Mark, it's personal too. He plugged in his own home at the show and immediately started running the numbers with his wife on a potential rental unit. The platform showed they could build up to 1,200 square feet on their lot, which at current rental rates in their area could generate $2,500 or more per month.
"I like what this can do," Mark said. "I like it from the customer standpoint. I like it from a franchisee standpoint."
That's exactly the kind of conversation FutureLot is built to start. Whether you're a builder qualifying projects, a franchise owner growing your business, or a homeowner just starting to explore the possibilities, the answer to "what can I do with my property?" shouldn't take weeks to find out. It should take 60 seconds.
